The company provides design, development and installation, service and maintenance for most commercial and industrial applications. We work closely with contractors, consultants and end users to deliver cooling, heating and air movement solutions.

Our dedicated in house design teams allow us to take on challenging projects such as food factory design, conversion of R22 plant to ammonia and healthcare ventilation.

Our clients on each job have close contact through our designated contract managers to ensure smooth running of the works leading to hand over on time and on budget.

After sales service and maintenance is an important part of the package we offer to our clients. We have invested in the IT systems to provide our customers with quality and certainty.

Principal Cooling strive to provide our customers with energy efficient equipment and to carry out our contracts to the highest environmental and safety standards.

We realise that consultants and contractors expect the highest standards. Our designs and installations are based upon best practice to comply with standards such as RAC/80 for air conditioning, RAC/70 for refrigeration, DW/144 for ductwork and DW/172 for kitchen extract systems.

ISO 9001 is the internationally recognised standard for the quality management of businesses. We are regularly audited to achieve ISO EN: 14001 and ISO EN: 9001 and OHSAS:18001. We are currently applying for membership of B&ESA, The Building & Engineering Services Association.

Principal Cooling are F-Gas registered members of REFCOM which promotes best practice in refrigerant management. We are also Constructionline registered.
